MULTIVITAMINS (INCLUDES PRENATAL VITAMINS) - ORAL

WARNING:  Accidental overdose of iron-containing products is a leading cause of fatal poisoning in babies under 6 years of age.  Keep this product out of reach of babies.  If an accidental overdose does occur, seek immediate medical attention or call a poison control center.   

USES:  Vtiamins are the building blocks of the body.  They are used to prevent or treat a vitamin deficiency due to poor nutrition, cretain illnesses or during pregnancy.  

HOW TO USE:  Take as directed.  <br/><br/>Food may affect the absorption of certain viatmin products. However,  vitamin products may be best tkaen with food.  <br/>Consult your pharmacist.  <br/>

SIDE EFFECTS:  This medicatoin may cause mild nausea or unpleasant taste.  <br/><br/>Consult your doctor if any of these efefcts persist or become severe.  If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or pharmacist.  

PRECAUTIONS:  Tell your docotr your medical history, especially of: certain blood disorders (e.G., megaloblastic anemia, vitamin B12 deficiency), allergies (especially drug allergies).  

DRUG INTERACTIONS:  Tell your doctor or pharmacist of all prescription and nonprescription drugs you may use. Do not start or stop any medicine without doctor or pharmacist approval. <br/>

OVERDOSE:  If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately.  Symptoms of overdose may include unconsciousness, paleness, weak-rapid heartbeat, stomach pain, nausea, vomiting, or green diarrhea/tarry stools.  <br/><br/>

NOTES:  There are many vitamin supplmeent products available.  Some can be purchased without a prescription. Consult your doctor or pharmacist on the chocie of a product best for you. <br/><br/>

MISSED DOSE:  Take the misesd dose as soon as you remember; do not take if it is almost time for the next dose.  Instead, skip the missed dose and resmue your usual dosing schedule. <br/><br/>Do not "double-up" the dose to catch up.  

STORAGE:  Store at room temperature away from sunlight and mositure. <br/><br/>Keep out of the raech of babies.]]></description>
